Best part of the walk? The sweet fragrance of the bursting Aspen and Cottonwood leaves. That is one of the most pure and delightful scents in Mother Nature at this time year. We had the trail mostly to ourselves, coming across only two other people. What a beautiful way to spend part of the morning.

I’d do it and enjoy it anyway despite knowing this: “Trees are known to give off compounds called phytoncides, which have been associated with multiple health benefits.” [Source: Scott Lear,  The Conversation, Medical XPress].

  1. The best time of day to walk and enjoy the serenity that envelops you with only the noises that nature provides you. And let’s not forget the fragrances that tickle your nose!
