One evening last week the most awe-inspiring and spectacular sunset occurred. It was so remarkable that people were coming out of their homes and yards and making their way down to the hem of the sea. It’s unusual that so many people were on the beach or along the ridges at that time of evening. It was a sunset like no other. I too made my way down to take in the spectacle.

“A sunset is the sun’s fiery kiss to the night.”

“Come, drink the mystic wine of night, brimming with silence and the stars; while earth, bathed in this holy light, is seen without its scars.”

  1. the sky is definitely the main attraction here, but i must say, i love the flat beach and its expanse

    a gorgeous image

  2. Stunning shots of this sunset! They are always an amazement to see, but to capture on film is even more special. What is awesome is when you know that you caught something spectacular and you feel the goosebumps come over you. The tranquility of the scene adds to it.
