Every day the clock resets. Each day begins with a clean slate. So yes, significant changes to the face of my little spot here on the Internet. I hope it doesn’t create any visual or navigational issues for anyone. If it does, please do let me know. If I can make some minor changes for a better experience I am more than pleased to accommodate anything that may be in my control.

The reason for the change, to make a long story short, is because I’ve dropped my ProPhoto (brand name) template because it’s no longer being maintained by the company. Rather than pay for the upgrade, I chose to use one of the WordPress free templates.

The footer still contains a number of the same items as before though I’ve had to drop a few features that came with the previous template. Most unfortunately, the search function and my favourite daily quotes can no longer be placed up top and are now located in the footer of this new site.

To avoid a totally incongruous post, I’ll leave this one as an introduction to the new look and will post the ‘regular’ Monday offering separately.

  1. nicely done!

you can possible get back some of the features you miss by searching the WordPress plugins. if you find one you want to implement, just download it from your plugins section and activate it. if it doesn’t work out as you’d hoped, just delete it.

  2. It’s always those one or two favorite features that you absolutely love that can’t “carry over” or be presented as you like it. I hope the transition is a success.
