Missing me? Missing you.

You’ve missed a great deal since my last post (way back in September!). Thanks to a friend enquiring about my blog status, I’ve decided a missing post is in order. I’ve been offline a great deal, though definitely not entirely. That’s not a good excuse however. Truth is, partly because I AM offline a great deal these days, I’ve not been giving a focus on my little spot here on the ‘web. I’ve certainly thought about posting on numerous occasions. So today I shall attempt a wee bit of a catch up.

One more reason for such a delay in posting is my Lightroom software has not been allowing me to upload any photos to my computer. Consequently I’m not able to size them for sharing. In the New Year I plan to hire a computer tech to come in and see if he can get a hold of Lightroom and fix my photo uploading issues.

You’ll see I was busy in the kitchen a great deal! Missing are photos of the fermented sauerkraut I’ve been making again. I’ve knit a few small items and am currently struggling with a sweater. It’s only a struggle because the pattern I bought is extremely poorly written — it’s a translation from Norwegian and a very poor translation at that. We’ve had our new yard re-landscaped in the interim and now I’m trying to get fully prepared for Christmas. I’d love to hear from you too. What have I missed? What are you doing to prepare for the Christmas season?

Well my lovelies, speaking of Christmas coming up, I can think of several different topics for another blog (and much sooner than I’ve allowed this one to take). I may have to rely upon old photos from my archives since I’m unable to upload photos from my camera to Lightroom. May you enjoy the crisp December air, your favourite seasonal music, and special times gathering with friends until the next time.

  1. Hi, Diane. Lovely photos, as always. What a drag about your Lightroom issue. That would drive me nuts. I was almost relieved to see you hadn’t posted in awhile as I have not been posting much either nor keeping up with my blogging friends. So I feel less guilty now 🙂 Merry Christmas, hope to see more of you in 2020.
