Reading: The Girl They Left Behind by Roxanne Veletzos

Listening: to Classic FM out of London, England!

Cooking: mostly ethnic foods this past week — Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Portuguese

Making: another photo book (getting more photos off the computer)

Enjoying: the beach as often as I can get there

Watching: winter shadows, indoors and out

Hoping: you enjoyed the photo-a-day here for those who stopped by to visit this week

Grateful for: everyone who reports and/or rescues animals from their suffering and neglect.

To you my faithful visitors: “May the sun bring you new energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength into your being, may you walk gently thorugh the world and know it’s beauty all the days of your life.”Apache Blessing

  1. a very eye catching scene in your top image

love the simplicity of your words describing how your current days are being spent. i noticed the absence of piano and hope you just hit the highlights.

as another person already said, you certainly do have a beautiful beach. i’ve only visited the beach once in the winter and must say i found it thoroughly enjoyable. a fine image you provided to show it’s beauty.

  2. I have always loved this style of post. I haven’t been reading anything at all of late and it is something I both regret and want to correct. On the subject of cooking–I am bored to death of my own repertoire. There are so many cookbooks on my bookshelf that I never crack open. I am thinking I should dig out one of them and force myself to choose 3 or 4 things to try. On the subject of making I also want to make a change. I love making jewellery but I have gotten away from it as well. I think I will choose an afternoon each week and make that a jewellery making day.
