• After making our cappuccino and a simple toast (with my own jam)
  • Went to the Saturday morning market as we always do
  • serenaded by this great ensemble of talented teens
  • Loved how the light shone on all the great produce and artisan breads
  • Did some deep house cleaning and had neighbours over for tea
  • Attended the local crab fest with some great neighbours / friends — guess what?
  • The crab didn’t show up but we enjoyed some fun conversation and ate the fixings anyway
  • Love it when a person can laugh at silly situations
  • Got excited when two large cruise ships sailed by in the evening, all lit like bracelets on water
  • Sunday morning pack walk with our two dogs & their dog friends (all 13) is always an enjoyable way to spend a sunny Sunday
  • Attended an incredibly enjoyable local event, pARTy on the drive
  • Saw some great artists including a woman who creates her own glass beads
  • I had to buy one of her pendants
  • Excited that Dave of Red Cod Forge had our finished kelp artwork on display at the event
  • Walked a labyrinth and it felt so calming
  • Took lots of photographs all weekend
  • Went to the seafood market nearby to buy some salmon for dinner
  • {The leftover ended up being turned into a curried salmon salad inside some rosemary cheese bread for Monday lunch.}
  • Lazy evening … oh, and here comes another one of those cruise ships
  • … lit like a diamond bracelet.
  • Should attempt to get to bed early for a change — it’s taking me ages to finish reading The Postmistress even though it’s a well written novel.

{How’s that for a crazy way to post about my weekend!} If you made it this far, I also ask a question at the end …

Oh and on my mind these days: considering re-opening my Etsy shop … need to put more thought into that and sort through some new ideas. Do you Etsy? Do you buy from Etsy? What sorts of things appeal to you the most? What have you purchased from Etsy shops?

  1. I love this post, I often have random thoughts to share and don’t write anything because it would take too long to organize my writing ~ I love the idea of bullets of randomness, it was so enjoyable to read about your week! 13 dogs! so much fun 🙂

  2. I neither Etsy nor buy from Etsy I’m afraid. I’m trying not to buy things period but rather get rid of stuff. I’ve too much clutter. One day (not in the foreseeable future, but one day) I’ll have to move and I don’t want it to be a huge job when the time comes.

  3. Sounds like my kind of weekend!
No, I don’t have an Etsy outlet (nowhere near prolific enough!), but know bloggers who sell quite a lot of their wares that way.Other(similar) outlets might be worth exploring. The currency conversions scared some people, but I see Etsy now offers to convert if their software sees that you’re coming from a non-US$ zone.Helpful!
