I’ve always been an observer. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve observed: people, life, water, nature, habits, body language, details.

I continue to be fascinated by what I observe. These are the fine details, but I don’t miss the larger picture either. Do you observe? Or do you have other attributes that are more finely tuned?

“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.” ~Dale Carnegie

  1. I am learning to recognize when I am doing it, the connection between what I see and what I choose to photograph sometimes doesn’t connect as seamlessly as imwouldmkie, but practice practice practice.

  2. These are beautiful examples of the detail cloeup photography can record. Beyond that is the beauty of the whole image which you achieve with equal quality. Fine shooting. The quote is a fine thought for all of us!
