“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.” ~Chief Seattle, 1855

“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” ~John Muir

Last evening while cleaning up in the kitchen, I was keeping a close eye on the encroaching evening light. The light was calling to me. Soon I succumbed to the seduction, heading out with my camera. This is all that came between me and the setting sun. There is a reason my logo is a dandelion seedhead.

What calls out to you?

  2. Gorgeous captures, Diane – that web is amazing!! Yes, I know your love of dandelions and it is perfect for your logo. My son picked out a dragonfly for me and it is very apropos.

  3. I am being called at 3:45 a.m. by a robin nesting somewhere outside our bedroom window – and I really don’t mind. 🙂 This time of year is so fleeting and the dawn light beguiles me.

Your pictures made me think that if I were a great jewelry designer like Tiffany I would be completely inspired by nature. Simply beautiful photos.
